5. Pricing and Quotations

If payment is not received by the due date, we may charge interest on the overdue amount at the statutory rate and may suspend further services until full payment is made. 7. Cancellations and Changes

You may cancel or amend your booking by contacting us as soon as possible. The following terms apply unless we agree otherwise in writing:

If you cancel more than 24 hours before the agreed collection time, no cancellation fee will usually be charged.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the agreed collection time, we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover our costs.

If our team has already been dispatched or has arrived at the premises and you cancel or are unable to proceed, we may charge a call-out or wasted journey fee.

Any changes to the scope of the service, date, time or location are subject to availability and may result in a revised quotation or additional charges. We will notify you of any such changes before proceeding.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to operational reasons, adverse weather, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will offer a new appointment. We will not be liable for any loss or costs arising from such cancellation or rescheduling, other than refunding any pre-paid charges for services not provided.

8. Waste Types and Regulatory Compliance

All waste collection and disposal will be carried out in accordance with applicable UK waste management legislation, regulations and guidance, including but not limited to duties of care relating to the handling and transfer of waste.

You confirm that you have the right to authorise the removal of the waste from the premises and that the waste presented for collection does not include prohibited or unlawful materials. Such prohibited items may include, but are not limited to, certain hazardous substances, clinical or medical waste, asbestos, pressurised containers, explosives, chemicals, oils, fuels and other regulated items.

We may require you to provide information about the nature and origin of the waste. Where required by law, a waste transfer note or other documentation will be completed, and you agree to provide accurate information to enable us to comply with our legal obligations.

If we discover or reasonably suspect that the waste includes prohibited, hazardous or incorrectly described materials, we may refuse to collect it or may adjust our charges and procedures accordingly. We may also report unlawful waste activities to the relevant authorities where we are legally required or consider it appropriate to do so.

9. Title, Risk and Disposal

Title and liability for the waste pass to us at the point it is loaded into our vehicle, provided that the waste has been correctly described and is lawful for us to carry and dispose of. If it is subsequently found that the waste was not lawfully transferable or was incorrectly described in a material way, responsibility may revert to you and you agree to indemnify us for any resulting loss, cost or liability.

We will transport and dispose of collected waste at licensed or otherwise lawful disposal, recovery or recycling facilities. We aim to minimise the amount of waste sent to landfill where reasonably practicable, in line with applicable regulations and our environmental commitments.

10. Damage and Liability

We will exercise reasonable care and skill when providing our services. However, you are responsible for protecting or removing any items that may be damaged during the normal execution of waste collection activities, particularly where waste is located near delicate fixtures, furnishings or structures.

We will not be liable for minor damage that is reasonably incidental to the proper performance of the services, such as scuffs or marks arising from the movement of bulky items through confined spaces, provided we have acted with reasonable care.

Our total liability to you in respect of any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the services shall be limited to the amount paid or payable by you for the particular service giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other matter where it would be unlawful to do so.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of anticipated savings, whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, in connection with our services.

11. Customer Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and keep us indemnified against all claims, costs, damages, fines, penalties and expenses arising from:

Your failure to accurately describe the waste.

Your failure to obtain any necessary consents or permissions for waste removal.

Your provision of waste that is illegal, hazardous or not permitted for collection or disposal.

This indemnity will extend to any third-party claims, regulatory actions or enforcement measures arising from the matters above, except to the extent that such claims arise directly from our own negligence or wilful misconduct.

12. Data Protection and Privacy

We may collect and process personal information about you in order to manage bookings, deliver our services, process payments and comply with legal obligations. We will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws in the United Kingdom.
